This course also includes a take-home practicum consisting of a sample case in which the student will be expected to complete a WCMSA submission, which will be graded by the faculty.

The practicum portion of the course is designed to take at least 15 hours to complete and must be completed and submitted for grading within 30 days after completion of the classroom portion of the course.  A Certificate of Completion for the 30-hour course will not be issued until a satisfactory practicum has been submitted.  For those seeking CEUs for MSCC recertification, a Certificate of Completion for 15 hours will be issued without completion of the practicum.
